- W2 employees, check your W4 with your employer to make sure enough tax is withheld from your paycheck.
- Self-employed individuals – make quarterly estimated payments to the IRS & track your income and expenses throughout the year. Here is a link to the IRS site for payment info IRS Estimated Taxes
- Contribute to a retirement plan to get a tax deduction.
- “Bunch” medical and dental expenses if you itemize deductions on your tax return.
